Rakesh Jallipally is a seasoned business leader with over 18 years of experience across fashion, retail, and consumer technology. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Pepe Jeans India, where he drives strategic growth and brand transformation. Prior to this, Rakesh was Vice President at Flipkart, leading the men’s fashion category and launching Spoyl, a Gen Z–focused fashion platform that achieved a 10x revenue scale-up within a year. He also played a pivotal role in launching AZORTE at Reliance Retail, reinforcing his reputation as a fashion retail innovator. Earlier, Rakesh spent a decade at Arvind Fashions Ltd. as CEO and COO, steering the growth of brands such as US Polo Assn. and Flying Machine. He began his career at Raymond Ltd., managing large-scale retail operations across South India. Rakesh holds a PGDM from IIM Lucknow and a B.E. from Osmania University.
