Mrs. Meeta Bharat Shingala is a visionary leader, industry pioneer, and accomplished researcher in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) sector, with over 37 years of distinguished professional experience. She is the Managing Director & CEO of Testtex India Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., a leading independent laboratory network focused on quality, safety, and sustainability.
Founded in 1988, Testtex India Laboratories operates as a trusted pan-India and internationally recognized laboratory network with 300+ qualified professionals. The laboratories are accredited and recognized by NABL, BIS, SASO ,IOPEC, FSSAI, and APEDA, offering multidisciplinary testing across chemical, mechanical, microbiological, molecular biological, and electrical domains.
She holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry with Physics and Biology as subsidiary subjects, along with career-oriented diplomas in Man-Made Textile Chemistry (D.M.T.C.) and Marketing & Management of Textiles (D.M.M.T.) from SASMIRA, Mumbai. She is ISO/IEC 17025 certified, a NABL-certified Internal Auditor, and has completed advanced ecological and sustainability testing training in Europe.
Her technical expertise covers textiles & leather, dyes & chemicals, environmental quality assurance including zero discharge of hazardous chemicals, wastewater & effluent , cosmetics, toys, helmets, and food, water ,food contact & packaging materials. She is a Senior Member of AATCC for over 20 years, an ISCMA member, and an active contributor to BIS technical committees and global initiatives such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX®, and ZDHC driving sustainability , safety and regulatory excellence.
