Anjani Prasad is a seasoned textiles expert with an experience of over 40 years working with the Textile and Chemicals Industry. He began his career at Century Mills in Production, then joined the BTRA in the Process Audit team gaining experience cost audits and process optimization & controls, before joining Sandoz in 1991. He rapidly rose from Product manager to Business head to the Head of Country for Textile , Leather, Emulsion and Paper Division, overseeing over 400 employees at then Clariant. From 2010 he managed various Global portfolios in Clariant and after its spinoff at Archroma such Supply Chain, New Business Development etc. till 2015 when he relocated to India as Managing Director for Archroma India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. After Archroma’s merger with Huntsman Textile Effects in March 2023, he was appointed as the Vice President, Textile effects for the South Asia region spanning India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Southeast Asia. Starting January 2025, he has taken over additional responsibility of leading the Global Innovation & New Product Development for Colorants & Coatings along with the Regional VP role for India, Sri Lanka.
