Abid Nishad is the Managing Director of Cosmos Sports World, one of India’s leading sports and activewear retail companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Newcastle University and brings a strong blend of strategic vision, marketing expertise, and hands-on retail leadership to the sports retail sector. Founded in 1990, Cosmos Sports has grown into a trusted destination for sports equipment, apparel, footwear, and fitness products, serving a wide range of sports and wellness categories.

Under his leadership, Cosmos Sports operates 9 large-format stores across Kerala and 3 stores in Dubai, and is an authorised retail and distribution partner for global brands such as Adidas, Nike, Yonex, and Ashaway. Headquartered in Calicut, the company has also expanded into wholesale distribution, manufacturing support, sports infrastructure solutions, and athlete development through the Cosmos Sports Academy.
