Hemant Mehta is Managing Director, Media, Digital & Retail businesses at Kantar IMRB and Chief Strategy Officer, Kantar South Asia. A consumer behaviour and media observer for the last 25 years in India and the subcontinent, Hemant has seen and tried to cope with continuously evolving consumers and media panorama. Being curious and interested in human oddities, market research has been his love and professional calling.
Hemant’s expertise spans a wide range of product categories, large-scale and complex continuous measurement projects; Panel based and custom projects across a range of sectors- FMCG, Media, Retail, Shopper, and Services. He led Kantar IMRB’s foray into Shopper & Retail research and consultancy services for brand owners and retailers.
Going beyond the traditional trade and organized modern retail, he developed India’s only authoritative Luxury industry report that addresses pertinent questions on the luxury growth market, trends and helps the global luxury brands navigate the Indian market. He was also responsible for the launch of MARS – a comprehensive guide to understanding men consumers, more specifically male grooming and wardrobe trends.
More recently Hemant spearheaded Prospect – country’s only digital commerce shopper/purchase panel that deep dives into the psyche of connected consumers and deliver powerful insights into what drives them. He is now mentoring the newly launched Kantar Shopper Practice that focuses on understanding shoppers in an Omni channel world.
He is passionate about digital media; especially about understanding how mobile devices can be used to decode human beings, to communicate with them and drive consumption.

Her career highlights include heading design teams for various brands within Levi Strauss & Co and offering her Design Consultancy services for Givenchy, 7 For All Mankind, Evisu, Rock & Republic, Inditex, H&M and PVH Group to name a few.
Pradyumna Vyas acquired a Masters in Industrial Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
In June 2010, Vyas was conferred with an honorary Master of Arts degree from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, United Kingdom in recognition of his contributions to design education and design promotion.
Vyas has more than 33 years of professional and teaching experience in different spheres of design. Since the last 27 years, he has been associated with the National Institute of Design (NID) as a faculty in the Industrial Design discipline. In April 2009, he was appointed as the Director of the National Institute of Design.
Prior to joining NID, Vyas acquired three years overseas experience at the Kilkenny Design Centre, Republic of Ireland.
In July 2011, Vyas was given the award for his outstanding contribution to design education at the second edition of Asia’s Best B School Award that was held at Singapore.
Vyas was invited as the jury member for the special awards screening panel at Good Design Award (G-Mark) by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, Japan consequently in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
He has been at the helm of design promotion events in India and has represented NID in various international and national events. He was elected as an ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design) Executive Board Member for 2009–11.
In pursuance of the National Design Policy approved by the Cabinet in February 2007, an India Design Council was constituted in March 2009 and Mr Vyas has been nominated as its Member Secretary by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
In July 2015, World Education Congress, 2015 conferred the award for Outstanding Contribution to Education to Mr. Vyas.
In March 2016, Mr Vyas was honoured with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award – Design, 2016’ at the first ‘India UX Design Awards’ for the contribution towards the designing community and his pioneering efforts in the field of design education and design promotion.
